How to Become a Patient
At this time there are almost 200,000 medical marijuana patients in Arizona who have one or more of these qualifying conditions:

- Cachexia
- Cancer
- Chronic Pain
- Chron’s Disease
- Glaucoma
- Hepatitis C
- HIV/AIDS
- Muscle Spasms
- Nausea
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Sclerosis
- Seizures
To become a patient, you need to get a written certification from a physician licensed to practice in Arizona. The physician may be associated with a clinic that specializes in medical cards, or talk to your family physician for a recommendation. The physician should guide you through the process of submitting your application to Arizona Department of Health Services.
